The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has officially launched a tender for a study on the modernization, operational efficiency, and decarbonization of Moroccan ports. The mission, scheduled from September 2026 to February 2027, targets four strategic sites: Casablanca, Jorf Lasfar, Tan-Tan, and Tanger Med (the latter serving as a benchmark). Consultants will compare their organization, logistics connections, energy needs, and digitalization levels.
