The Casablanca-Settat region is taking a major step in digitalizing its administration with an integrated information system project worth 35 million dirhams, spanning nine months. Designed to modernize internal management, the system will automate key functions: human resources, budget tracking, accounting, mail and archives management, and project oversight. The project unfolds in four phases: needs analysis and solution design, software development, deployment across regional services, and user training with change management. The goal is to provide decision-makers with fast and reliable access to data. Information exchanges will occur via a secure internal network, ensuring full data traceability. The platform will also monitor operational efficiency through key performance indicators (KPIs), centralize HR management, and integrate financial functions. For Moroccan expats, this modernization signals improved local governance and could eventually streamline remote administrative procedures, offering smoother online services. The bid opening is scheduled for September 8, 2026. This initiative is part of Morocco’s broader territorial digitalization drive, enhancing the region’s attractiveness for investment and simplifying citizen interactions, no matter where they live.
