The General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) has released its weather forecast for Monday, June 8, 2026, in Morocco. Expect fairly hot to hot weather across several regions, including Saiss, Gharb, Oulmès, the plains west of the Atlas, the Oriental, Moulouya Valley, interior Souss, the Southeast, East and South of the Saharan provinces. Minimum temperatures will range from 9°C to 15°C in the Atlas, soar from 20°C to 27°C in the southern Oriental, Southeast, East and South of the Saharan provinces, and hover between 15°C and 20°C elsewhere. As for maximums, a slight drop is expected on the northern Atlantic plains, while a rise is forecast elsewhere. In the morning, fairly dense low clouds will bring mist or drizzle to the northern and central plains, the Mediterranean coast and the northwest of the Saharan provinces. The sky will be partly cloudy over the Middle Atlas. Be aware of fairly strong wind gusts on the central coasts, the Southeast and the southern provinces, with local dust storms. At sea, the Mediterranean will be calm to slight, the Strait of Gibraltar slight, between Tangier and Larache slight to moderate, and moderate to rough in the South. For Moroccan expats: pack light clothing for hot areas, a windbreaker for windy coasts, and drive carefully on southern roads due to gusts. Stay tuned for updates!
