As part of Morocco's High-Speed Rail (LGV) project, SOGEA Maroc has secured the highly anticipated contract to build the future Casa Sud station. The winning bid amounts to 944.7 million dirhams (about $94 million). Located at the strategic intersection of Boulevard Roudani, El Jadida Road, and the urban highway, the station will cover over 21,980 m². It aims to become a major transport hub, connecting several Casablanca districts and integrated into the Nassim urban project. Beyond its railway function, the station will feature a monumental vault, a vast esplanade linked to the tramway, an open city square, and a 360-degree panoramic viewpoint. To address environmental challenges, the project uses prefabricated modules to reduce waste and carbon footprint. For Moroccan expats, this infrastructure is a major mobility advancement. It will ease travel between Casablanca and other cities via high-speed rail, while offering optimized access to urban transport. This multimodal hub will simplify journeys from the airport or to business districts, boosting the destination's appeal for investors and visitors. Casa Sud will become a key connection point for expats traveling for work, study, or holidays. Stay tuned for project updates on our site.
